Excitement on Elliott Avenue

Well coordinated incident
Gonzales PD, FD, PW with Santa Cruz Bomb and AMR Squad removed and disposed of some old explosives found in an old shack on Elliott. Many residents were displaced for safety. Many thanks to all responders for safe operations and to the residents for understanding and patience.

Incident Commander and PIO was Police Chief Ray Green, Operations was Police Officer Fred Lombardi, Fire Ops was Lt. David Garcia.
